Factory & Packaging Production Equipment

The right production route depends on the approved package, material, print method, dimensions, quantity, tolerances and quality plan. Equipment availability and the manufacturing location are confirmed for each project before production.

Representative production environment; equipment and location are confirmed per project

Flexible Converting

Printing, lamination or coating, slitting, pouch making and fitments are mapped to the final structure and format.

Paperboard Converting

Printing, surface finishing, die cutting, windowing, folding and gluing are reviewed around the carton specification.

Labels & Sleeves

Print, die cutting, finishing, seaming and roll configuration are coordinated with the container and application equipment.

Molding & Tooling

Thermoforming, injection molding, tooling development and inspection are selected around geometry, material, tolerance and scale.

Equipment follows the specification

P&M does not force every package onto one production path. The approved dimensions, substrate, print and finish, quantity, tolerances, closure or fitment, and packing method determine the suitable manufacturing and converting route.

Production areas reviewed

Depending on the package, project review can cover material preparation, printing, lamination or coating, slitting, pouch making, die cutting, folding and gluing, label converting, sleeve seaming, thermoforming, injection molding, tooling and assembly.

  • Flexible packaging and rollstock
  • Paperboard and corrugated packaging
  • Pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves
  • Thermoformed and injection-molded packaging
  • Tooling and secondary operations

Quality and equipment fit

Inspection and testing requirements are defined around the package and application. Relevant checks may include dimensions, print and color, seal or bond integrity, fit, appearance, pack-out and project-specific performance tests. Exact equipment, test method, tolerances and sampling plan are confirmed in the approved specification.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the exact machine list for my project?

The relevant manufacturing location, equipment route and available technical details can be confirmed during project review. Public model numbers, counts, widths and speeds are not listed until verified.

Is every process performed at one factory?

Not necessarily. The production route depends on the package format, material, process and project requirements. P&M coordinates the approved path and confirms where applicable operations are performed.

How do you decide whether equipment can make my package?

The review uses dimensions, material, print and finish, format, tolerances, closure or fitment, quantity, filling or application requirements, quality plan and delivery needs.
